weave+wonder: weekend wonder

I find that in the noticing of the details, there is a richnes to our everyday that is comforting...the slow-moving work, the stitching together of a life, this weekend I am noticing:

:: 'pebbles' ...one in a stitching series almost complete

:: '5 treble, skip 2, 1 treble, skip 2, 5 treble...' this slow crochet rhythm almost complete

:: 'peeping-glory' the first camelia's to crown the bush

:: unique beauty unfurling

:: a regular stop along the hall

:: ahhhh, complete...a warm satisfaction

WELCOME

WEAVE + WONDER are introducing boutique art + craft classes for children.

We believe every child is an Artist, born with an innate sense of creativity and the ability to create uniquely.

We aim to nurture this creativity through innovative art projects and themes and the use of beautiful raw and natural materials.

Sourcing natural wool fibre from small spinning industry in Tasmania, handmade papers and beautiful natural dyed and handwoven fabric from fair-trade industry in Cambodia.

Our classes are run for the pre-school years and more advanced workshops for primary school age children.

Our craft kits are available for sale and contain class materials, instruction and materials for further application. These are available upon completion of the series.
